How to Submit Documentation

Once you register and verify your e-mail address, you will need to submit documentation to determine your Arizona Early Childhood Workforce Career Lattice Level. Your Lattice Level has two parts and is determined by the submission of documents and information provided on your Registry account. The Lattice Level letters ranging from A - H refers to your education/professional development, and the numbers ranging from 1 - 3 refers to your Arizona work experience.

High school diploma/GED, CDA, and Arizona Teaching Certificate:
  • Submit in one of the following ways:
  1. Upload a copy of your high school diploma/GED or teaching certificate directly in your profile on the Registry: *Preferred method
    1. Click on My Profile under My Tools & Settings
    2. Look for the Participant Files section near the bottom of the page
    3. Click on Upload New File. You will upload one file at a time.

College/University Transcripts:
The Arizona Registry Admin Home now accepts unofficial transcripts from domestic colleges and universities. Documents from international (foreign) educational institutions must continue to be official transcripts. Unofficial transcripts may be uploaded into your AZ Registry Participant File Manager. Unofficial college/university transcripts (domestic and international):
  1. Domestic transcripts
    1. Unofficial transcripts are accepted
    2. Upload a copy directly in your profile on the Registry
  2. International transcripts
    1. Only official transcripts will be accepted
    2. You may submit official transcripts in a sealed, unopened envelope from the accredited institution. If you self-submit, official transcripts must be received in a sealed, unopened envelope from the accredited institution and mailed to:

    3. Upon receipt of an official transcript by the Registry, the transcript will be sent to be translated (if needed) and evaluated by an accredited agency. It may take 4 - 6 weeks for the results to be posted to the member's Registry account.
    4. When requesting an international transcript to be sent to the Registry, please request ALL original post-secondary transcripts.
    5. Please contact the Registry if you will be submitting more than one foreign transcript.


Credentials and Certifications:

Submit copies of professional credentials and/or certifications received by state and nationally-recognized organizations (For example: Pediatric First Aid/Pediatric CPR, Child Development Associate (CDA) awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition, etc.)

NOTE: Do not submit certificates/diplomas from colleges/universities; these must be listed on your official transcripts.

    1. Click on My Profile under My Tools & Settings
    2. Look for the Participant Files section near the bottom of the page
    3. Click on Upload New File. You will upload one file at a time.

Professional Development Certificates:

Professional Development taken outside of the Registry may be documented in the Training Log. These training hours will be considered unverified, although the hours will be listed on the Registry user's Education and Training Report under the Unverified Section. Please do not upload training certificates into your Registry File Manager. The training certificates are not needed.
  1. Login to the Arizona Early Childhood Registry at www.azregistry.org.
  2. Under My Tools & Settings on the left side of the page, click on Training Log.
  3. Click on Add Training.
  4. From the data on your training certificate, fill in Date of Training, Hours, choose a Category for the training, Type of Training, Training Name, and Offered By. Click on Add Training if you have additional trainings to add. When finished, click on Save.
